GUIDES
Travel
Travel rules for pets change often and differ from one airline, hotel or rental to the next. These guides show you exactly which questions to ask and which documents to check, with the policy details are marked with a verification date when one is available, because the rule you read today may not be the rule next season.
Why travel pages carry a date
Airline cabin rules, hotel pet fees and rental damage policies are commercial terms, and companies change them without announcing it. A page here records the policy as it stood on the date shown, names the document it came from, and tells you which question to ask when you call. Treat the date as part of the information: a page verified two seasons ago is a starting point for a phone call, not an answer.
Read the guides in this section in the order you will meet the decisions. The carrier rules come first because they constrain everything else, a cat that cannot travel in the cabin changes the whole trip. Accommodation and road travel follow, and each one lists the documents worth having in hand before you confirm a booking.
